Information about CreativeNauts

The blog

This project was born in Monday 30th 2013, I’ve had many other blogs in the past but I had to pay for their maintenance (domain, hosting, themes, scripts, advertisement). Eventually and for private reasons, I sold one, killed the other 4 and couldn’t really catch up, hence my decision to make a free blog with the content I want to publish and rub it to the critics’ faces– not to mention the freedom I get. is the current system I’m using, I love it and kinda hate it at the same time for various reasons; mainly, money, it’s pricey to have some customisation around here *groans* but heck, what should I complain about. Now, where did “Creativenauts” as a blog name come from? I’m not quite sure to be honest :/, I was thinking in the word “internaut” and connected the dots with “creative“, get it? Because of the topics I talk about here… no? I’m out then.

If you were looking for a professional web/graphic design blog you are in the wrong blog, old sport… this is merely a normal and simple student’s lair where I write what my head tells me could help others or can make me have fun publishing it. The approach of Creativenauts is personal, from an inexperienced chap to maybe another or who knows, maybe you are a pro and you find my blog worth reading; if you are one, please leave comments and give me a heads up on what I can improve; as a person, as a blogger and more.

The author

My name is Luis and I’m 21 (do the math if you are reading this some years after 2014), I decided to create a personal blog with a variety of topics that I have sheer passion for, such as design (graphic and web), cinematography, pro-wrestling, compilations, the internet, life, rants, languages and much much more. My worst fears are death, nuclear war and meteors. I really want to be someone in the future, but I don’t mean to be rich and powerful, or helluva successful with my face on the media all around the planet; no, hell no. I live by the motto of “decide what to be and go be it“, always do what you like and have passion for; adding to it, I think that, sometimes you stumble across serendipities… meaning that your dream activity shows up with the time, totally unexpected.

The mythic bridge at my uni, when it gets all foggy.

I was born in Tijuana México, April 9th of 1992. I love to eat big steaks, Japanese food and muffins with decaf coffee; yeah… I go to Starbucks and sometimes people say I am a hipster, but I swear! I’m not! Absolutely love classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal, thrash metal, jazz, symphony, blues, funk and old school rap (classics). One of my favourite bands is Black Sabbath, but I also enjoy: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Carlos Santana (yay!), Hendrix, Satriani, Metallica & Megadeth, Slayer, RHCP and more. Don’t ask what computer I use because I have three, I use my windows laptop most of the time.

By the way my mother language (I prefer to say müttersprache, not sure if I spelt it right) isn’t English, so, if you notice any grammar, syntax or spelling mistake, please let me know. I’m currently in France doing my last uni time in Parsons; and when I graduate, get married and get some money, I will travel to Australia (Melbourne), the UK (Liverpool or London), Japan (haven’t decided the city yet) and maybe hmm… Spain (Madrid of course); in addition, thank you for staying and reading all this codswallop, comment please!

  1. Thanks for the follow. The bridge photograph is haunting, lovely. Add photography lessons to the ever-growing list of “to-dos” I’ll attempt to squeeze into this second half of my life. Fingers crossed it IS a life, rich and fulfilling in the intangible ways…like yours! Peace.

  2. Hello Luis, this is the most interesting introduction that I’ve come across till now. I really like the way you express yourself through different ways and yes just a design blog is old school. 🙂 Thank you for following me. Wishing you all the very best with your dreams.

  3. Hi, Luis! Thanks for the follow!

  4. Hey! Thanks for following! I read your bio/philosophy and I’m guessing you may be married by now? Also do you think that your choice of heavy metal music coincides with your fear of death? ( just asking – I’m curious)

  5. Dear friend, Thank you very much, I was really happy to have been following your blog. I’m still a lot to figure out, and here I can only say that you are an awesome blogger, full Inspiring and hope you can inspire more readers. Thanks and greetings compassion from Gede Prama 🙂

  6. Hey Luis, thanks for visiting my site and deciding to follow my on-going work.

I am new to blogging and found your site very serendipitous…

I can see myself spending some time reading your work…

  7. You write very well in English. You don’t seem very self-conscious about it, either – good. Do you read a lot of English?

I like your philosophy of how to go about the game of life.

There ARE dynamics higher than self and family, though. Groups, humanity, all living things, the physical universe, the spiritual universe, and then there’s all the rest. Any of these dynamics could swoop down and totally change your life, so it is wise to take some responsibility for them, too.

Do well. There are many things this younger generation will need to confront. The older ones will be born back into a world created by the decisions that the younger ones make today. So it is not with any particular flippancy that I say: Do well!

  8. As a new Spikey, you’ve joined a growing clan of folk known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures since the 70′s, as well as day to day happenings on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it. Of course, if you have any suggestions for me, I’d love to hear from you, serious; email me.

In return, I promise not to be overbearing with perhaps 2-3 posts a day tops. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again for your vote of confidence, hope you have a great day…

    1. Yeah, that picture came out natural, well, except for the colouring, that day the fog was out the charts; it rained like crazy, there was a hailstorm and extremely loud thunder. Thanks for the correction and compliments, I will for sure enjoy my time here and most of all, keep writing and doing what I love.

  12. Thanks Luis for visiting my blog! May you enjoy your time in France, and beyond. I look forward to reading more. I just want to point out that this isn’t really a date: Monday 30th 2013, so you might want to add a month in there 😉

  13. Hi Luis, nice to meet you. And good luck with this blogging venture number 6. Still it does’t matter a whit whatever happens with it as long as you enjoy doing it.
Thanks for following our blog. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey, both inner and outer. Cheers, Alison

  14. Hi, Luis! Great write up about yourself…very down to earth. Just like you, my native tonque is not English. I am a Filipino, from the Philippines. I just happen to speak and write in English because the language is part of the curriculum. I had been violating rules in the proper use of English since I was in high school. I did not give a damn if our teacher in English always called my attention regarding my use of “and” to begin a sentence, and use several dots in portions where I want my idea to hang. Thanks for the follow…

  15. Hi, Luis. Thanks for joining the reader family of my blog. I am glad to have you on board. On my site, you’ll find my Friends page, where my readers leave information about themselves and their blogs. I hope you will do the same. Welcome! 😎

  16. We definitely have similar music interests. Many thanx for sharing this post and bridge photo… and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your travels and keep us updated with your imagination or whatever’s on your mind. Peace.

  17. Hello and nice to meet you .I wanted to say Thank you for following me and you have good taste on music.:) I like wordpress because it’s easy for me since I am new to all this and from what you wrote glad I hadn’t gone to anyone It’s easy because I don’t know how to run a blog. Thank you and Have a nice day:)

  18. Thanks for the follow, Luis. I’m going to have a look around your blog, it seems interesting. I’m from Australia, but I lived Perth side, though hoping to move to Melbourne, actually. Currently doing Uni online from Australia, too. It allows for flexibility in travel. France, though! Must be great, although I hear it isn’t as awesome as the media has us believe, but a I did also hear it is a great home for hipsters, not that you are one. Such a shame. My list of countries to visit is major by comparison to yours, but I’m slowly making my way through the list, although I am currently penniless.

Cheers again for the follow, will have a look around yours!
