Hey, relax, it’s not porn! It’s utterly gory and disturbing. I was having a hard time today, it was such an stressful day and I noticed my blood pressure went up high, it’s normal now but I was feeling dizzy and weak. That reminded me of 2 years ago when I was feeling the same but worst, I decided to kill time watching a random movie I saw on a forum; I’m gonna be honest with you, my search queries were “gore” and “disturbing.” Quite a choice, huh? Knowing that it might do no good to me, I still went ahead and watched a movie called “Hobo with a Shotgun”, directed by Jason Eisener who just rang my bell as the director of VHS 2.
The movie is just so cruel, crude and gory. It’s about an old man, who happens to be a hobo living in a violent world, surrounded by homicidal punks who don’t know what law is, and a cute girl who is a victim of one of the punks. Rutger Hauer (Sin City, Batman Begins) played the character very well, the chemistry between him and Molly Dunsworth was amazingly heartwarming. The scenes will make you feel weird and disgusted, you’ll be surprised by how sick the flick is, for the gore fans this is certainly a must watch and the first time I saw it it left me with a headache and an even higher blood pressure level. I couldn’t sleep and not because of the nightmares, but because I was feeling like I was fading out, must’ve been the BP. Now let’s talk about how badass and ominous The Plague is, once you see them involved, your heart will jump.

A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city’s crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how – with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail.
